The Patizon D 890 is a winter mummy bag filled with 890 g of duck down (700+ cuin, 90/10 ratio), split evenly between the top and bottom chambers. EN ISO 23537 testing rates it at -9 °C comfort, -17 °C limit, and -38 °C extreme. Both shell and liner are Toray Airtastic 38 g/m² with a DWR finish against condensation, and horizontally oriented box baffles keep the down evenly spread after repeated use. An anatomical foot box follows the shape of your feet to cut cold spots in the coldest part of the bag. It's made in the Czech Republic. At 1,250 g in size M, the D 890 sits in the standard-weight winter bag bracket rather than the ultralight expedition category — a reasonable balance of warmth and weight for winter treks and bivvies where a summer or three-season bag no longer cuts it.
