Osprey Ultralight Raincover

The Osprey Ultralight Raincover is a standalone pack cover made from recycled 40D nylon, designed as quick rain protection to add to a pack that doesn't already have one built in. The seams are taped, so the cover shields the whole pack without gaps where water could work its way in through shoulder straps or side pockets. It packs into its own attached stuff sack, so it never gets lost or takes up spare space — once removed, it stuffs back down and clips to the pack. Osprey offers it in four sizes (S/M/L/XL) covering packs from 30 to 110 litres, so it fits nearly any pack in the lineup, not just ones without a built-in cover. Unlike a pack liner, it only protects the exterior — contents stay dry only until water finds a way in through the pack's own zippers or seams. For maximum protection in sustained rain, the two solutions pair well together.
