The Deuter Aircontact Ultra 45+5 SL is a women's-specific trekking pack with a 50-liter capacity (45+5) aimed at hikers who want the carrying comfort of a classic pack without the weight penalty. At 1210 g and about 24.2 g per liter, it sits on the lighter end of its category while still using an internal frame and a tensioned mesh Aircontact back rather than the stripped-down frame of pure ultralight packs. Torso length is adjusted through a Clip & Loop system, letting the fit be tuned to the wearer. Access to the main compartment is limited to a top lid — a simpler but lighter approach than packs with a front J-zip.
