The Gregory Jade 43 is a women's-specific 43-liter hiking pack with a simple internal frame, unlike the aluminum stays used in Gregory's larger packs. A dynamic FreeFloat hip belt and tensioned mesh back route load onto the hips, and a SpeedClip sleeve keeps the hydration reservoir in place. At 1.59 kg for 43 liters, that's about 37 g per liter — higher than the lightweight Facet or Focal lines, which fits a smaller pack with a simpler build rather than an ultralight-optimized one. The body is 40% recycled 400D polyester ripstop with PFC-free DWR treatment. It includes one front pocket, two side pockets, and an ice axe loop, but no integrated rain cover, and the main compartment opens only from the top. The Jade 43 suits shorter multi-day trips or lighter loads where a smaller volume and simpler construction are enough; for bulkier loads or the lowest possible weight, other Gregory packs are a better fit.
