The Waymark EVLV is a frameless ultralight backpack in the 35–38 liter range, weighing around 428 g in its lightest build. It uses waterproof EPL Ultra ECOPAK, a laminate fabric chosen for its high strength-to-weight ratio, and closes through a roll-top main compartment rather than a zippered lid.
Without an internal frame, the EVLV depends on how the load is packed to hold its shape — a common ultralight trade-off that saves structural weight but puts more of the carry on the shoulders and hips as the load grows. Load shifter straps help fine-tune that balance, and the hip belt is configurable: a minimal webbing strap for the lightest builds, or an optional padded belt for more support on longer carries.
With one ice axe loop, a front pocket, two side pockets, and no hydration sleeve, it favors simplicity over organization. It's aimed at thru-hikers and multi-day trekkers chasing a low base weight rather than anyone hauling technical or winter gear.
