The 2400 Windrider is the volume leader of Hyperlite Mountain Gear's 2400 family, with a 51.5-liter total capacity once its 11.5-liter roll-top extension is counted alongside the 40-liter main body — while still weighing only 844 grams, the lightest full-featured pack in the lineup at roughly 16.4 grams per liter. It's built from Dyneema Composite Hybrid DCH50 and uses aluminum stays with load lifter straps to manage that larger capacity. Three external mesh pockets — one front, two side — plus a single ice axe loop give it more storage flexibility than the Southwest or Porter, and hydration compatibility supports drinking on the move.
