The Osprey Talon Velocity 30 is a 30-litre pack built for fast, multi-sport days rather than classic backpacking, weighing 962 g. Its running-vest-style harness wraps the torso closely and includes soft-flask-compatible front pockets, so bottles or flasks stay within reach without stopping. A Stow-on-the-Go trekking pole holder lets you stash poles hands-free mid-move, and stretch-mesh side pockets plus hip belt pockets keep small items accessible. Osprey lists trail running, mountaineering and ski touring as the intended uses, and the fabrics back that up: recycled, bluesign-approved nylon that's also PFC/PFAS-free.
