The Superior Wilderness Designs Big Wild 70L is an ultralight roll-top pack built to carry heavier loads over long multi-day treks. Its carrying system pairs aluminum stays with a floating hipbelt that pivots with hip movement, transferring weight lower on the body than is typical for ultralight packs. The body is made from Ultra400X, a laminated waterproof fabric with a UHMWPE (Dyneema) face, reinforced with 210D Robic nylon accents in high-wear areas, keeping the pack water-resistant even under heavy loads. At 70 litres it weighs 1046 g, working out to just under 15 g per litre of capacity — a solid figure for a pack built around load-hauling rather than shaving every possible gram. Two side pockets and load lifters round out the feature set, though there's no front shove-it pocket or integrated rain cover.
