Superior Wilderness Designs Movement 35L

The Movement 35L is the smallest pack in the Superior Wilderness Designs lineup, aimed squarely at thru-hikers for whom low weight is the top priority. The body is made from Ultra 200 fabric, combining UHMWPE fibers with recycled Repreve polyester, carried on aluminum stays with a padded hip belt with pockets. Unlike the larger models in the range, it skips load lifters, reflecting a focus on lighter loads rather than heavy expedition carries. At 35 litres it weighs just 664 g, or 19 g per litre — a decent ratio for an aluminum-framed pack with a padded hip belt, though not as extreme as the brand's frameless models. A roll-top closure plus a front pocket and two side pockets keep frequently used items within quick reach. The Movement 35L suits thru-hiking and multi-day trips where 35 litres is enough capacity and the pack's own weight is meant to count toward an overall ultralight base weight.
