Waymark Embr

The Waymark Embr is a 60-liter thru-hiking pack that stays under 38 oz (about 1,067 g) despite carrying real structure: removable aluminum stays, a contact-padded back panel, and a padded, load-lifter-equipped hip belt. That combination puts it closer to a traditional backpacking pack than most frameless ultralight designs, which matters once you're carrying six or more nights of food and gear. Fabric is recycled ECOPAK — EPX200/EPX400 on the body with RBC200 reinforcement — rated highly water resistant, so the pack tolerates rain and stream crossings better than uncoated nylon without needing a separate cover. Access is through a roll-top main compartment backed up by top-and-bottom compression straps, stretch-mesh front and side pockets, a bungee trekking pole attachment, and a daisy chain for lashing extra gear. It's built for extended multi-day and thru-hiking trips where you need real load support and weather resistance without jumping to a heavier traditional pack — a reasonable middle ground for hikers not chasing the absolute lightest frameless builds.
