Waymark Lite

The Waymark Lite is a 50-liter internal-frame pack (around 987 g) built from recycled ECOPAK fabric, with removable aluminum stays giving it more structure than Waymark's frameless models. Volume splits into a roughly 40-liter main body plus about 10 liters of extension collar, so it can compress down for shorter trips or expand for a multi-day load. Access is through a top lid rather than a roll-top, and the padded hip belt includes pockets for quick-access items — a small convenience most frameless ultralight packs skip. One trade-off worth noting: the pack doesn't have load-lifter straps despite the internal frame, so fine-tuning how weight rides on the shoulders is more limited than on packs that include them. Waymark positions the Lite for 1–5 day hikes with base weights up to roughly 16 lbs (7–7.3 kg), which makes it a reasonable step up from ultralight frameless packs for hikers who want some structure without moving to a heavier traditional frame pack.
