Waymark Mile

The Waymark Mile is a 28-liter frameless pack weighing 454 g, made from recycled ECOPAK EPX200 fabric. The volume splits into a 22-liter main body with a 6-liter roll-top extension, so it can carry a day's worth of gear compressed small or stretch to fit an overnight load when needed. Being frameless and fitted only with a webbing hip belt rather than a padded one, it leans toward the lighter end of Waymark's range — fine for loads that stay modest, less so once you're carrying multiple days of food. Two front pockets and two side pockets give reasonable quick-access storage, and the contact-padded back panel adds some comfort against the frameless design's usual stiffness. There are no ice axe loops, so it's not built with technical or snow travel in mind. Waymark markets it for day hikes and fast, light overnight trips rather than extended thru-hiking, which fits its size and minimal hardware: this is a pack for going light and moving fast, not for hauling heavy loads over many days.
