MSR IsoPro Gas Canister 110g

The smaller of MSR's two IsoPro canister sizes, holding 110 g of an 80/20 isobutane-propane blend, with total weight (fuel plus container) of 221 g. It uses the same screw-thread Lindal valve (EN417) as the larger version, so it fits the same range of canister stoves without any compatibility difference. The propane in the mix helps maintain vapour pressure better than pure butane as temperatures fall, so it performs more reliably on cold mornings than a butane-only canister would, though below freezing all canister stoves lose pressure as the canister itself cools. This 110 g size suits weekend trips or short outings of two to three days where a full larger canister would mean carrying unused fuel; for longer trips or group cooking, a bigger canister size cuts down on how many canisters you need to pack and dispose of.
