Description

The Victorinox Classic SD Colors is the smallest model in Victorinox's Swiss Army Knife lineup, built around a 58 mm closed length and a 4 cm blade in 420-series stainless steel with a modest 56 HRC hardness — enough for everyday cutting tasks like opening packaging or trimming cord, not intended as a hard-use bushcraft blade. At 21 g it barely registers on a gear list, making it an easy addition even to weight-conscious ultralight kits. Seven tools are packed into the Cellidor handle: the main blade, scissors, a combined nail file and screwdriver, tweezers, a toothpick, and a key ring, with no locking mechanism — standard for this Swiss-style slip-joint design, which keeps the tool simple and reliably functional over decades of use. Victorinox manufactures it in Switzerland, and the "Colors" designation refers to the range of handle colors available (including red, blue, black, green, and orange) rather than any functional difference from other Classic SD versions. It works best as a lightweight backup tool alongside a dedicated fixed-blade or folding knife on longer trips, or as the sole cutting tool for day hikes and car camping where scissors and tweezers see more use than a blade.
