Description
This is NEMO's purpose-cut footprint for the Dagger OSMO 2P tent, matching its 127 × 224 cm floor exactly rather than relying on a generic oversized ground sheet. It's made from 75D PU-coated recycled polyester rated to 1,500 mm, enough to block abrasion and ground moisture from puncturing or wetting the tent floor from below on rocky or damp pitches.
At 220 g it adds a modest but real weight penalty to the Dagger's already-moderate pack weight — worth it mainly for extending the lifespan of the tent floor on rough terrain, since floor repairs or replacement cost more in money and downtime than carrying a footprint. It packs into an included mesh stuff sack for separate storage, and because it's cut tent-specific rather than universal, there's no excess fabric flapping outside the tent's footprint that could collect water. This is a straightforward protective accessory rather than a standalone shelter component, best suited to backpackers pitching on abrasive ground: talus, gravel bars, or established but rocky campsites.
