The High Point Super Light 2.0 Cover is a breathable bivy bag rather than a bare emergency shelter, built from a waterproof-breathable laminate rated to 20,000 mm hydrostatic head — a solidly weatherproof figure for a bivy fabric — paired with high breathability to manage condensation from body moisture better than a non-breathable shell. At 222 g, 230 cm long and 97 cm wide, it slips over a sleeping bag rather than replacing one, with an anatomical cut that follows the body instead of a straight tube shape.
A full-length, dual-slider YKK zipper is a real upgrade over the partial zips common on lighter bivies: it lets you vent from either end or get in and out without unzipping the whole length, which matters in the heavy rain the fabric is rated to shed.
