The Copper Spur HV UL1 Bikepack is the solo version of the Copper Spur line reworked specifically for cycling — its single DAC Featherlite NSL (Shortstik) pole is broken into shorter 25.7 cm segments so it packs into a handlebar bag or frame bag where a standard-length pole wouldn't fit. The High Volume (HV) shaping adds interior room compared to the regular UL1, and the freestanding tent pitches inner and fly together in one motion, useful for getting it up quickly in wind or rain.
A minimum trail weight of 1,050 g (1,247 g total) and a 97 cm peak height strike a reasonable balance of space and weight for one person. The full-mesh inner keeps airflow good in warm conditions, while the silicone-treated ripstop nylon fly and bathtub floor keep water out. A single 0.8 m² vestibule holds a pack and boots outside the sleeping area. For bikepacking specifically, it's a shelter that saves pannier or frame-bag space without a major comfort trade-off.
