The Fly Creek UL2 is a semi-freestanding 2-person, 3-season tent with a single DAC Featherlite NFL aluminum pole and a double-wall, pitch-inner-first design. Minimum trail weight is 879 g (440 g per person), with a full packaged weight of 1021 g — light for a 2-person double-wall tent, though the single-pole, semi-freestanding structure needs guylines staked out to hold its shape well in wind.
The 2.6 m² floor is 132 cm wide at the shoulders and 107 cm at the feet, with a 107 cm peak height — enough for two people to lie down comfortably but not to sit up fully or store much gear inside. One rear-entry door and a 0.74 m² vestibule serve both occupants, so only one person has easy access at a time.
Fly uses 15-denier HyperBead-treated nylon ripstop with a silicone/PU coating; the floor uses 15-denier nylon with a polyurethane coating, both factory sealed. Two vents plus rain gutters help manage condensation. Eleven aluminum stakes are included. This tent suits couples or pairs prioritizing pack weight over interior space and quick solo setup.
