The Fly Creek HV UL2 Solution Dye is a semi-freestanding 2-person, 3-season tent built on a single DAC Featherlite NSL hub pole, with a double-wall, pitch-inner-first design. Trail weight is 879 g, or 440 g per person — light for a two-person double-wall shelter, though the full packaged weight with stakes and guylines rises to 1020 g.
The tapered 2.6 m² bathtub floor is 132 cm wide at the shoulders and narrows to 107 cm at the feet, with a 107 cm peak height — a space-efficient rather than roomy layout, typical of ultralight 2-person tents that trade elbow room for weight. One J-door and a 0.7 m² vestibule serve both occupants, so entry and gear storage happen from a single side.
Fly and floor use 15-denier and 20-denier nylon ripstop respectively with a 1200 mm silicone/PU coating and factory-taped seams, giving solid 3-season weather resistance. Reflective guylines aid nighttime visibility, and three interior pockets keep small items organized. A footprint is sold separately for extra floor protection or a lighter Fast Fly setup.
