Hilleberg Unna

The Hilleberg Unna is a 1-person, fully freestanding dome tent with a spacious interior for a solo shelter, at 2.3 kg packed weight - but it has no vestibule at all, so there's no covered spot to store a pack or wet boots outside the sleeping area. Everything you want dry has to come inside the tent body with you. Being freestanding, it can be pitched on rock, platforms, or ground that won't hold stakes, and its 3+ season (extended) rating covers reliable use through the colder shoulder seasons rather than snow-free trips only. The trade-off against tunnel tents of similar weight is interior roominess and pitching flexibility for the missing vestibule - it suits a solo hiker who values a spacious one-person tent and doesn't mind keeping gear inside, over someone who wants a separate sheltered space for muddy boots and cooking.
