The Six Moon Designs Lunar Solo is a single-wall tarp-style shelter for one person, pitched on a single trekking pole with no dedicated pole structure to carry. The fly is 20D silicone-coated polyester, the floor a tougher 40D version with 15 cm bathtub walls, both rated at 3,000 mm hydrostatic head. At 740 g excluding stakes and pole, it counts as one of the lighter 1-person tents in the catalog, though not the absolute lightest. The 2.4 m² floor plus 0.8 m² vestibule leaves reasonable room for a sleeping bag and a small pack inside, and the 124 cm peak height lets you sit close to upright in the center. A single roof vent and partial-mesh inner wall help with airflow, though in warm, humid conditions a single-wall design will still condense more than a double-wall alternative. Seams need to be sealed by the user before first use. Stakes aren't included in the package, so factor that into your gear list before heading out on a trek.
