The Outdoor Vitals Fortius 1P is an ultralight one-person A-frame tent pitched with trekking poles rather than dedicated poles. The fly and floor share the same 15D Sil/PU nylon ripstop rated to a 1500mm water column, while the inner is a full mesh panel of 10D no-see-um nylon hung beneath the fly — effectively two separate layers, even though the tent is sometimes described as single-wall. The non-freestanding design (it needs stakes to hold its shape, and ships with 8) means a faster pitch with fewer parts, but it also requires firm, stakeable ground. A 1.56 m² floor area and 124 cm peak height give relatively generous headroom for sitting up compared to other tents in this weight class, with one door and one vestibule. Seams are factory taped. At 720 g (641 g at minimum trail weight without accessories), it ranks among the lightest one-person tents in the catalog — clearly aimed at thru-hiking and fast-and-light multi-day trips where trekking poles are already doing double duty.
