At the cold end of Hammock Gear's Premium Burrow line, the Burrow 0 is a four-season top quilt rated to 0°F (-18°C), built for winter backpacking rather than shoulder-season use. It carries 457 g of 850 fill-power goose down — explaining most of its 612 g total — inside a 10D ripstop nylon shell with DWR treatment and a differential cut, letting the outer shell run slightly larger than the inner lining so the down can loft fully instead of being pinched at the seams. Pad loops let you cinch the quilt against a sleeping pad to seal out drafts, standing in for the closed sides a mummy bag would provide. It ships with both a stuff sack and a larger storage sack, the latter useful for keeping the down lofted between trips rather than compressed. The regular-length cut fits users up to 175 cm. This is a specialist piece for cold-weather camping, not a general three-season quilt — for milder trips, one of the warmer-rated Burrow models would carry less weight.
