One step warmer than entry three-season gear, the Premium Burrow 10 is rated to 10°F (-12°C) and positioned by Hammock Gear as four-season insulation. It uses 392 g of 850 fill-power goose down, sourced under RDS certification, packed into a 10D DWR-coated ripstop nylon shell that keeps total weight to 550 g — reasonable for the temperature range, though heavier than the milder Burrow 20 and 30 models in the same family. Unlike some of Hammock Gear's other quilts, this one doesn't use hydrophobic-treated down, so keeping it dry in the field matters more than it would with a treated fill; a dry stuff sack or pack liner is worth pairing with it in wet climates. The short-length cut is sized for users up to about 175 cm, and like the rest of the line it's a quilt rather than a mummy bag — no zipper, no hood, warmth relying on a snug seal against pad or hammock. It suits winter or high-altitude three-season trips where a 0°F rating would be overkill but a 20°F quilt would leave too thin a margin.
