The Cumulus Junior 500 is a kids' down bag for colder autumn and spring nights — a 0°C comfort and -3°C limit rating make it noticeably warmer than the Junior 300, suitable for early-season camps. The 500 g goose down fill (850-fill, 96/4 ratio, RDS-certified) sits in trapezoidal baffles with a differential cut, and the shell is Pertex Quantum (29 g/m²) with DWR treatment; the down itself is not hydrophobic-treated. The extra weight (760 g) and lower warmth-to-weight ratio (3.9) compared with the Junior 300 reflect the larger fill needed for lower temperatures — a trade-off that makes this the more versatile bag across a wider seasonal window. A zipper on both sides makes it easier for kids to get in and out without fighting a single-side opening, while a 3D anatomical hood and draft collar with draft tube hold warmth around the neck. Made in Poland in blue, sized short for children up to 145 cm, and packaged with both a stuff sack and a storage sack.
