The Marmot Sawtooth 15° is a three-season mummy bag rated EN/ISO 23537 to -3°C comfort and -9°C limit, using 650 fill-power duck down rather than the goose down found in several other Marmot bags - a common way to cut cost while still delivering solid cold-weather performance. At 1310 g and roughly 145.6 g of weight per degree of warmth, it's heavier for its class than Marmot's premium down bags, tracking with the budget-oriented duck fill.
Full-length dual-side zippers with two-way sliders give flexible venting at both ends, useful across a fairly wide range, while a draft collar and draft tube limit heat loss where it matters most. The fitted hood and 20D nylon shell with DWR treatment round out a build focused on reliable, no-surprises performance rather than pushing any single spec to an extreme. The shell also uses recycled material.
Packed to 41 x 19 cm and cut for men up to 182 cm in Regular, with an internal pocket and stuff sack included, this suits cold-weather camping and shoulder-season backpacking - solid mid-range rather than specialist ultralight.
