The Big Agnes Divide Insulated adds synthetic THERMOLITE fill with a heat-reflective film to the same vertical I-beam baffle platform as the standard Divide, pushing the R-value up to 4.0 under the ASTM F3340-18 standard. That rating puts it in 3-to-4-season territory — capable of handling cool shoulder-season nights, though not a dedicated winter pad. At 624 g for the 167.6 x 50.8 cm rectangular size and an 8.9 cm thickness, it's noticeably heavier than the uninsulated Divide, which is the expected trade-off for roughly 2.5x the insulation. Packed size of 19 x 10 cm keeps it reasonably compact for a synthetic-insulated pad. Recycled nylon ripstop covers both faces, and the package includes a pump sack, stuff sack, and repair kit. This is a pad for backpackers who camp across a wider temperature range — spring through fall — and want one pad rather than swapping between a summer and a winter model, accepting a moderate weight penalty for that versatility.
