The Big Agnes Insulated Q-Core Deluxe is a three-season air pad with PrimaLoft Silver insulation and a heat-reflective layer, its R-value of 4.3 independently verified under ASTM F3340-18. At 10.8 cm, its thickness is on the higher end for air pads, and combined with I-Beam chamber construction it promises steadier, more comfortable sleep than thinner models. The quilted top fabric is a two-way stretch nylon-spandex with a brushed soft-touch finish, improving comfort against skin and reducing pad-on-surface friction. The bottom layer is a tough double-ripstop nylon. At 709 g (Regular, 183x51 cm), that works out to 164.9 g per unit of R-value — somewhat more than the lighter Air Core Ultra, the price of the extra thickness and softer surface. The package includes a pump sack and repair kit, and the pad packs down to 22x11 cm. It is not a coupleable model for two sleepers side by side — it is built as a solo, comfort-oriented option for three-season trips where a little weight is worth the trade.
