The NEMO Astro Lightweight Sleeping Pad is a non-insulated air pad with an ASTM-tested R-value of 1.5 — enough to take the edge off cold ground on mild three-season nights, but not for near-freezing conditions where a higher R-value or a pad-plus-foam combo would be needed. That places it in NEMO's 2-season rating. Horizontal internal baffles and 8.9 cm of loft give a stable, evenly supported sleep surface in the Long Wide size (193 × 63.5 cm), and a single flat, low-profile valve keeps the edge free of a bulky protrusion that could dig into a shoulder. At 710 g, it's reasonably light for a pad this size, though NEMO's own rating flags a "moderate crinkle" noise level — a trade-off pad fabrics make for lower weight and packed size. The 75D recycled, bluesign-certified polyester shell on top and bottom favors durability over the lightest possible denier. It ships with a Vortex pump sack (inflation is manual, not integrated) plus a stuff sack and repair kit — a complete kit for a three-season sleep system, minus insulated performance for shoulder-season cold.
