NEMO Quasar™ 3D Sleeping Pad

The NEMO Quasar 3D is an insulated air pad with three-dimensional, body-mapped baffles, rated to R-value 3.3 under ASTM F3340-18, placing it in three-season territory. Insulation comes from 100% post-consumer recycled PrimaLoft fill, and bluesign certification points to a more responsible textile production process. The Regular size measures 183 × 50.8 cm at 8.9 cm thick and weighs 710 g; the resulting R-value-to-weight ratio of 4.65 is solid but lower than dedicated winter pads, marking this as a versatile three-season pad rather than a specialist for extreme cold. Top and bottom fabrics are 100% recycled PU-coated polyester ripstop, balancing durability against weight. The Laylow multi-function valve allows quick inflation and deflation without flipping the pad over. The package includes a Vortex pump sack and a repair kit, and the pad compresses to 2.1 liters (20 × 11.5 cm). Low noise when shifting position and PFC-free construction round out the Quasar as a balanced choice for both backpacking and general camping.
