NEMO Tensor Extreme Sleeping Pad

The Nemo Tensor Extreme is an insulated air pad built for winter conditions, with an R-value of 8.5 that puts it among the warmest pads on the market. Insulation comes from four layers of Thermal Mirror™ metallized film combined with an Apex™ baffle system, which spreads body weight more evenly than conventional tube baffles and reduces heat loss at contact points. At 8.9cm thick, it delivers above-average comfort even on hard, frozen ground. The Long Wide size (198×64cm) is built for taller or space-hungry sleepers, and at 662g the weight-to-warmth ratio is genuinely competitive — few winter pads pack this much R-value per gram. Packed size stays a reasonable 27×12cm, and the included Vortex™ pump sack speeds up inflation without requiring lung power at altitude. A low-profile valve and bluesign® certification round it out as a considered choice for winter backpacking and alpine trips where reliable insulation matters more than shaving the last few grams.
