NEMO Longbow™ Alpine Ultralight Insulated Sleeping Pad

The NEMO Longbow Alpine is an insulated air pad with an R-value of 4.8 (tested to ASTM F3340-18), built for winter and high-alpine use. Insulation comes from three layers of reflective metallized film — NEMO's Thermal Mirror technology — instead of a conventional synthetic fill, which the brand says also makes the pad quieter to move on than typical foam- or air-insulated designs. The Long Wide size measures 193 × 63.5 cm at 7.6 cm thick and weighs 750 g; combined with the R-value, that gives an R-value-to-weight ratio of 6.4, putting the Longbow in alpine and winter-trekking territory where insulation from snow matters more than ounces saved. A spaceframe baffle construction keeps air from shifting inside the pad and heat distribution even. A 20D top fabric and 30D bottom fabric, both PU-coated ripstop polyester, handle pack abrasion and rocky ground. It ships with a Vortex pump sack and a stuff sack, packing down to 24 × 9 cm. A single multi-function valve handles both inflation and deflation.
