NEMO Tensor All-Season

The NEMO Tensor All-Season is an insulated inflatable pad built for winter and sub-zero use, with an R-value of 5.4 (ASTM F3340-18) delivered through two layers of Thermal Mirror reflective film rather than foam or synthetic fill. At 440 g in the Regular size, its R-value-to-weight ratio of about 12.3 and roughly 82 g per R-value point are strong figures for a four-season winter pad, reflecting how efficiently reflective film insulates relative to its weight. An 8.9 cm thickness and Spaceframe internal baffle structure - which limits air movement inside the pad for a more stable, quieter surface - suit side sleepers who need cushioning at the hip and shoulder. The 20D nylon top and 40D nylon bottom fabrics are bluesign-certified, and the pad ships with a pump sack, stuff sack, and repair kit. For dedicated winter bivouacs or shoulder-season trips into sub-zero conditions, this insulation level is well matched to the task. For three-season backpacking, however, the added weight and R-value are unnecessary - a lighter, uninsulated Tensor covers those conditions with less pack weight.
