The Trailblazer LT 20 stands apart from the rest of the range through its construction: rather than relying on DWR alone, the whole pack is fully taped and seam-sealed, which is why Montane rates it as genuinely waterproof rather than just water-resistant. At 300 g for 20 litres (15 g/l), it's one of the lightest packs in the Montane catalogue, aimed at fastpacking, trail running, and fast day hikes where a separate pack cover would just add weight and hassle. The RAPTOR Fly Lite 40D sil-nylon ripstop fabric is thinner — and therefore more fragile — than the 70D fabrics used on the larger Trailblazers, a reasonable trade for the weight saved. The main compartment closes via roll-top, the front pocket uses a simple bungee cord rather than mesh, and the side pockets stay mesh. Trekking poles attach via bungee loops, and side compression straps manage volume. There's no hip belt and no frame — this is a frameless pack built around light, minimalist loads rather than heavier multi-day kit.
