The Osprey Exos is one of the best-known ultralight trekking packs on the market, and the men's Exos 48 offers 48 liters at 1,100 g — under 23 g per liter. The AirSpeed suspension, tensioned mesh over aluminum stays, keeps the pack body off your back; the recommended max load is 13 kg, lower than the heavier Atmos line but in line with its ultralight category. The body is 100D recycled high-tenacity nylon with a tougher 210D base fabric, and the DWR finish is PFC-free. A hidden valuables pocket and removable lid are practical touches, while YKK zippers and reflective elements round out the details for early starts or late finishes. There's no integrated rain cover or dedicated sleeping-bag compartment — typical trade-offs for an ultralight build. Osprey backs the pack with a free lifetime repair program.
