HydroBlu Versa Flow with Activated Carbon Filter

This version of the HydroBlu Versa Flow pairs the 0.1 µm hollow-fiber membrane with a replaceable activated-carbon cartridge in a single squeeze/gravity filter, so unlike the base Versa Flow it addresses both microbiological and chemical contamination in one pass. The membrane catches bacteria and protozoa, while the carbon element removes heavy metals, chlorine and pesticides — useful mainly for hikers in areas affected by agricultural or industrial runoff, where membrane filtration alone only solves part of the problem. Flow rate reaches up to 1.5 L/min, higher than the standalone Versa Flow, though the 107 g weight reflects the added carbon component — a trade-off between broader filtration coverage and extra grams in the pack. The carbon cartridge lasts roughly 568 liters and is replaced separately when spent, while the hollow-fiber membrane is rated for a claimed 378,000 liters and cleans via syringe backflush. With a 28 mm thread it fits standard PET bottles and hydration bladders, working for both squeeze and inline use.
