Fizan Ice-Snow Microspikes

The Fizan Ice-Snow Microspikes use 21 steel points, 1 cm long, mounted on stainless steel chains under the foot, combined with an elastomer sling and a hook-and-loop strap across the instep — a hybrid binding that holds more securely than a pure elastomer sling on its own during side-hill traversing. At 355 g per pair (size M), they add real weight to a pack compared with lighter minimalist spike designs. The 1 cm points bite into hard-packed snow and glazed ice on trails and approach paths, giving traction for walking rather than technical climbing — they are not a substitute for crampons on steep snow or glacier travel. A carry pouch is included for stashing them once you are off the ice. They suit winter and shoulder-season hiking on established trails with icy patches rather than mountaineering terrain.
