The catenary-cut panels pull taut under tension, reducing flap in wind and helping the pitch hold its shape once staked out. A 2.76 m ridgeline runs the apex, and an integrated vent at the top helps manage condensation, which is typically the main trade-off with single-wall pyramid shelters. Two YKK AquaGuard zip entrances give flexible access for two occupants without climbing over each other, and at 535 g the tarp sits in typical territory for group pyramid shelters — not the lightest solo option, but efficient per person when split three ways. Like all pyramid tarps it relies on a trekking pole rather than dedicated tent poles, so total carried weight depends on what you already bring for hiking.
