The Copper Spur UL2 is the base two-person version of the iconic ultralight line, without the HV shaping — a freestanding double-wall dome that pitches inner and fly together thanks to its "pitch together" design. Two DAC Featherlite NFL/NSL poles, a 15D nylon fly, and a 20D nylon floor (both with HyperBead™ technology and silicone/PU coating) keep minimum weight to 1,190 g, with total weight at 1,361 g. A 2.69 m² floor and two vestibules totaling 1.67 m² give a 62% vestibule-to-floor ratio — an above-average figure suggesting generous storage outside the sleeping area. A single vent at the peak is more modest than some siblings in the line, though the fully mesh inner helps compensate.
