The Tiger Wall UL2 Solution Dye is a semi-freestanding, double-wall backpacking tent for two, built around a single DAC Featherlite NFL aluminum pole using a pitch-inner-first setup. Trail weight — fly, inner tent, and pole only — comes to 992 g, or 496 g per person, putting it solidly in ultralight territory for a tent with a full double-wall structure rather than a single-wall or trekking-pole design; packaged weight with stakes and stuff sacks is 1132 g.
The fly and floor use nylon ripstop with a silicone/polyurethane coating rated to 1200 mm, and the fly fabric uses Big Agnes's Solution Dye process, which colors the yarn before weaving rather than after, generally reducing water and energy use in manufacturing. Floor area is 2.6 m² with a 99 cm peak height, and two doors lead to two vestibules totaling 1.49 m² of gear storage, a useful layout for two hikers who each want independent entry and exit. Nine aluminum I-beam stakes and taped seams round out the package; a matching footprint is sold separately for extra floor protection.
