NEMO Hornet OSMO 2P

The NEMO Hornet OSMO 2P is an ultralight 2-person tent with a simple single-hoop design — instead of the usual crossed pole pair, it uses one bent pole, simplifying setup and keeping pole weight to just 293 g. It's semi-freestanding, so the corners need staking to fully open up the interior. Minimum trail weight is 948 g, full packaged weight 1140 g, split into 277 g fly, 391 g inner tent, 293 g pole and 134 g stakes — a clear map of where lighter stakes or guylines could shave grams. The OSMO ripstop fabric is 100% recycled nylon/polyester and PFAS-free, with a 1200 mm hydrostatic head on the fly and 1500 mm on the floor, giving extra protection underneath where ground contact is constant. Two doors and two vestibules (1.4 m² total) let both occupants get in and out independently. The Hornet OSMO 2P is built for thru-hiking and fast, light travel; NEMO's own guidance rules it out as a base camp or winter shelter, so it isn't the right choice for extended stays or snowy conditions.
