The Durston X-Mid Pro 2 (Nylon Floor) is a 2-person variant of the X-Mid Pro 2 that keeps DCF for the fly but switches to 15D silnylon with a polyether-urethane coating for the floor — a change that lowers cost and puncture risk versus the all-DCF version while improving abrasion resistance. A 577 g minimum weight and 655 g trail weight still make it one of the lighter 2-person tents on the market. It supports a pitch-fly-first setup, letting you keep the interior dry while pitching in rain — an advantage over designs that require tensioning fly and inner together. A 2.7 m² floor plus two vestibules totaling 2.16 m² (an 80% vestibule ratio) give two occupants and their gear solid room, and two peak vents assist ventilation. An optional footprint is available for this model.
