Description

The Hilleberg Enan 1 is a solo 3-season tent built around a single 9 mm pole and a full pole sleeve, weighing 960 g packaged — light for a double-wall design with one door and one vestibule. The unified pitch-together system means the inner and fly go up as one unit rather than pitching the fly first and hanging the inner afterward, which speeds up setup in wind or rain but also means you can't pitch the fly alone as a minimalist shelter. Roll-down mesh panels on the inner give ventilation control against condensation, a common issue in single-wall or poorly vented small tents, and the Kerlon 1000 fly fabric is Hilleberg's own ripstop silicone-coated nylon rated for that duty. Six stakes come included, which is on the low side for securing guylines and vestibule points in wind, so many users will want to add their own. A footprint is sold separately rather than bundled. This is a tent for solo 3-season backpacking — not winter conditions or heavy snow loads, where a single 9 mm pole and single-hoop design would be under-built.
