Marmot Limestone 4-Person Tent

The Marmot Limestone 4-Person Tent is a freestanding double-wall dome on four DAC DA17 aluminum poles (12 mm, not trekking-pole compatible), and Marmot lists it strictly for car camping and family use, not backpacking. At 5.4 kg total (4.6 kg minimum trail weight) it's roughly double the weight of Marmot's own Limelight, about 1.1-1.3 kg per person for four. Floor space runs to 5.5 m² (254 x 218 cm), with a 160 cm peak height letting most adults sit up near the center, plus 8.09 m² of combined interior and vestibule space across two D-doors. The 150D polyester Oxford floor with 3000 mm waterproofing is noticeably heavier-duty than typical backpacking floors, built for repeated pitching on gravel, not for saving grams. The 68D fly holds 1500 mm, seams are factory-taped, and the tent adds six interior pockets and a lantern loop but no gear loft. Unlike some other Marmot domes, the footprint is sold separately. Overall it's a durable, roomy basecamp shelter for family or friends, not a pick for anyone counting grams on a long hike.
