The Mountain Hardwear Bridger 6 Tent is a freestanding, double-wall 3-season tent for six people, pitched on four aluminum poles. Both fly and floor are 68D polyester with PU coating (1,500 mm hydrostatic head on each), and the inner combines 75D polyester with full mesh for ventilation. Seams are factory-taped, so no additional sealing is needed. The bathtub floor covers 8.31 m² (1.39 m² per person) under a 185 cm peak height, and two large vestibules add 8.8 m² of storage across two doors — 17.11 m² of total living space combined. At 10,869 g packed (8,857 g minimum trail weight, about 1,812 g per person), it belongs firmly in family and car-camping territory rather than ultralight gear. Seven guy-out points, ten stakes, and guylines are included, along with a footprint and a removable gear loft; eight interior pockets add organization. Suited to families or groups of up to six who are driving to camp, where pack weight and volume aren't a concern and interior space plus freestanding stability matter more.
