Nemo Hornet 2p Elite

The Nemo Hornet 2p Elite is an ultralight, semi-freestanding 3-season tent for two, supported by a single DAC Featherlite NFL pole — a setup that trims weight compared to conventional two- or three-pole designs. A ripstop nylon fly and a ripstop nylon bathtub floor keep total weight to 876g, or 779g in minimum trail configuration. Two side doors and two vestibules totaling 1.32 m² give both occupants their own entry and gear storage, which is unusual for a single-pole ultralight tent. The 2.54 m² interior, however, gets noticeably tight with two people inside — workable for two minimalist ultralight hikers, snug for a couple with bulkier sleep systems. Partial mesh paneling on the inner tent, plus vents at the peak and doors, help airflow and reduce condensation — a typical advantage of double-wall construction over single-wall designs. The Hornet 2p Elite suits thru-hikers and multi-day trekkers who weigh cost per gram more heavily than interior space.
