Zpacks Plex Solo Tent

The Zpacks Plex Solo Tent is a non-freestanding, single-wall shelter pitched with trekking poles, using an ultralight 0.75 oz/sqyd DCF canopy over a 20 cm bathtub floor for a 1.91 m² interior. As a single-wall design, there's no separate inner mesh tent — the DCF fly is also the weatherproof and structural layer, which keeps weight down but means condensation management depends more on ventilation and pitch technique than in double-wall tents. Total packed weight is 411 g including guy lines and factory-taped seams, with a 20,000 mm water column rating on both fly and floor, a genuinely high figure for hydrostatic resistance. Six stakes are needed to secure it, one door with a single vestibule handles entry and gear storage, and an interior pocket adds basic organization.
