Cumulus Quilt 150

The Cumulus Quilt 150 is a minimalist ultralight top quilt built around just 150 g of 850 cuin Polish goose down at a 95/5 down-to-feather ratio. With a 9 °C comfort and 4 °C limit rating, it is summer-only gear for hikers chasing the lowest possible base weight, not a quilt with shoulder-season margin. Total weight is 380 g. Horizontal H-baffle construction and a Pertex Quantum 29 g/m² shell keep the down evenly distributed and the pack size tiny: it compresses to roughly 18×11 cm, about 1.5 litres. At 65 cm shoulder and 50 cm foot width it is cut close rather than roomy, which helps efficiency but leaves little room for extra insulating layers underneath. As a quilt rather than a full mummy bag, it relies on a sleeping pad to seal out drafts from below, the standard trade-off for this weight class. It suits thru-hikers and fastpackers on summer trips who already know their sleep system and want to shave grams without giving up a genuine 9 °C comfort margin.
