Klymit Double V

The Klymit Double V is a wide rectangular air pad built for two people sharing a tent or tarp. Its V-chamber body mapping spreads air pressure to follow each sleeper's shape and reduces the gap that typically opens up between two people on a shared pad, and at 119×188 cm inflated there's enough width for both without needing to zip two single pads together. An ASTM R-value of 1.3 puts it firmly in summer-only territory — there's no insulation layer, just air, so cold ground will come through on cooler nights. At 1134 g it's reasonably light for a two-person pad, and it packs down to 23×13 cm. A pump sack is included, which fills the pad without the moisture and effort of blowing it up by mouth, and a repair kit is in the box for field fixes. This is a solid pick for couples or families doing warm-weather car camping or backpacking trips where sleeping together matters more than shaving grams.
