The Klymit Insulated V Ultralite SL is the lightest insulated pad in the V lineup — in regular size (183×51 cm) it weighs just 454 g and packs down to 18×11 cm, roughly the size of a water bottle. Despite that low weight it holds an ASTM R-value of 4.4, matching the considerably heavier Static V Lite in a much smaller package — its weight-to-insulation ratio is among the best Klymit offers.
A spaceframe baffle construction replaces the standard V-chambers with an open lattice structure, cutting material and weight while keeping the sleeping surface stable. A stuff sack and repair kit are both included for trailside fixes. At 50.8 cm wide — narrower than the standard 58 cm pads — it trades some comfort margin for weight savings, making it a clear pick for thru-hikers and anyone deliberately chasing a lower base weight.
